I simply cannot get warm today\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I fully understand with the change of season that it is substantially cooler first thing in the morning than it was\u2026 So not being able to just get dressed and wander out the door to take the dog out requires me actually being awake and thinking before I take her out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Something is setting her off in the mornings and she barks like an idiot nonstop for about an hour unless I get up, out of my warm little nest \ufffc\ufffc\ufffcand move to the chair in the den at which point she gets up sits beside me or on me and goes back to sleep\u2026 The whole thing defeats all of these lovely relaxed habits I\u2019ve had since I retired\u2026 The ability to sleep in is gone. \ufffc<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On payday I\u2019m going to order myself a water pistol\u2026that should get her attention but it\u2019s still going to require I get outta bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I understand that it\u2019s likely lack of sleep that is making me so cold, but I\u2019m wearing heavy socks, a shirt and a sweater and a sweatpants and I\u2019m sitting under a blanket in the den\u2026 I\u2019ve had a cup of coffee and even it didn\u2019t warm me up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve even tried going to bed earlier to allow for more sleep time\u2026 but just because I go to bed, doesn\u2019t mean I get to sleep\u2026 Two or three or even four hours sleep is simply not enough. \ufffc I\u2019ve never, in the 14 years I\u2019ve lived here, closed the bedroom door at night\u2026but I can see it coming. \ufffc\ufffcI have this comical visual of Rhu launching herself out of bed and stubbing her nose on the closed door lol<\/p>\n\n\n\n
