I have gratitude…
I moved to BC April6, 1998
in the following August
I moved into an apartment building
in Brentwood Bay
(a village just outside of Victoria)
and lived there until May/June of this year.
in all that time
I was not able
to have a soak in a tub…
we had the best water pressure
in the land…
but the tub was apartment sized
and in case you haven’t noticed…
I’m not
Last night
I finally decided
to give the tub
in my new place
a try
I’ve been showering since I moved here
the water pressure is ok…
but nothing like the place I moved from
I filled up the tub a
nd for the first time
in about 15 years I was able to soak
Getting in and out
with my knee and hip problems
was no small feat…
but once I was in
I didn’t ever want to get out…
We have to remember
to have gratitude for the little stuff
in our lives
eh?
