lets discuss lack of customer service
I’ve said before that I ordered a new dishwasher
I ordered it but the company I ordered it from doesn’t deliver it
it is to be delivered to me by UPS
so I called UPS and explained that I work for a living
and I need to know when to be there for receipt of my item
they told me “Monday from 9AM to 7PM”
I said “surely you can narrow it down – I work for a living”
they said “Monday from 9AM to 7PM”
so I said – “well there are 3 houses and a barn on the property
where will they deliver it to”
he says “they will deliver it to the address”
once again I say “there are 3 houses and a barn on the property
where will they deliver it”
he says “they will deliver it to the address”
I says “can we put a note on the file that they should deliver it to my specific house
I’ll give you directions”
he says…”no – we can’t change the address until they’ve made at least one attempt at delivery”
I say “I’m not changing the address – I’m just giving you directions”
“no – we can’t change the address”
I hang up and call back again
hoping against hope it was just that jackhole
and I repeat the whole conversation over again….
how do these companies stay afloat????
